Romanian – Bulgarian cross-border joint natural and technological hazards assessment in the Danube floodplain. The Calafat-Vidin – Turnu Măgurele-Nikopole Sector

Project Locations: The Calafat-Vidin – Turnu Măgurele-Nikopole sector
(Dolj, Olt, Teleorman, Vidin, Montana, Vratza and Pleven Counties)

The project is aiming to improve the already existent information on natural and technological hazards on both Romania and Bulgaria border area and increase transparency in terms of availability and dissemination for all the interested actors (local government, municipalities, emergency situation inspectorates etc.).
The study is planning to assess the incidence of natural and technological hazards in order to ensure environmental protection and sustainable development of the study area.
